Which famous youtubers help with shoutouts and stuff ?

This thread is painful to read >.<
Raging about popular YouTubers not giving shout outs is just dumb... If one of the people I'm subscribed to decided to do such a thing, I would unsub very quickly because they would have THOUSANDS of people to shout out...
And I would literally never look at the thousands of channels being shouted out... Imagine if PewDiePie shouted out for all of his subs who wanted a shout out. It's not greedy. Subs are real people, not just a "high score". If somebody likes your content and subscribes then that's awesome. You can feel proud to know that there's somebody out there who likes what you do and wants to continue watching. If you get 100 subs from mindless idiots who don't even enjoy your videos, you've earned nothing but a tiny amount of adsense pocket money...

If I see a video with a collab of people and I like the other people in the video, I check the description or outro and links to their channel are normally there. Try collabing with people (No, pewdiepie will not collab with you) and possibly help your channel like that. You may also gain some friends and have fun doing it...

Just like they have thousands of people asking them questions for the Q&A vlogs on their second channels, and yet they only choose a limited number of them to reply to. You know that is not what I meant. Obviously, I am not absurd to think that they should collab with everyone and give shoutouts to anyone who asks them to. However, it wouldn't hurt if the famous vloggers organized a monthly thing like that "the next big thing" that YouTube had a while back to promote the most original little-known youtubers... Sure, they would have to spend some time looking over some channels, but it's not like they had to watch all the videos. RWJ, for example, reviewed a lot of channels in his show, and do you think he had time to look at all the videos. No, he obviously skimmed through them, to have a general impression. It wouldn't be as difficult as you guys make it seem. OK, so maybe you disagree with my opinion, but you can't deny that my point is viable...

I absolutely can deny that your point is viable...
Why would a YouTuber care about a random guy requesting for a shoutout? They can't just give shoutouts to whoever asks them... They would simply lose their own subscribers thus making the whole thing pointless as there would be nobody left to advertise to...
Getting a random stranger to take time out of their day (Any amount of time) just to help another random stranger is just dumb. You're not a charity. You're not poor, dying and starving and the only way you can eat is via adsense money...
So why would they help you?
Do you also think Bill gates is greedy because he is charging you money for an Xbox or operating system? He has tons of money, why not just give it out for free/at manufacturing costs?
Just no. Nobody will randomly give you a shout out and that doesn't make them a bad person or greedy...
If you want subscribers, earn them just like the big YouTubers did when they started out...
Why do you even think this will work? It simply won't work. You may grab a couple of subscribers from random people who don't even watch your content just because they're hardcore fans of the guy who gave you a shout out... People don't just subscribe to random people.

You will not receive a random shout out from a popular YouTuber and probably never will.

Exactly... I subscribe to people for their good content, not the "good" channels they shout out... It would annoy me and most other people if people I subscribed to started doing shout outs just like that...
As gisikw said, getting on people's radar is totally possible. Collabing is a good way to do this. Both people benefit from this, the viewers get some extra-special content and generally everybody wins. However, you will probably only collab with smaller youtubers in the same position as yourself. Not large ones...

Dude, are you always this angry, or are you just in a bad mood today? It's not about me. As you can see, I haven't even started working on my channel. I was speaking in general. It is also not about the freaking adsense money. There are plenty of YouTubers who don't even monetize their videos because they make them just for fun. I can give you a couple of actual examples via pm, if needed. One may want to be famous online just for the sake of being famous, or to use the online popularity as a ramp to getting a job in real-life showbiz.

Bill Gates gets involved in a lot of charity work, and spends a large amount of his time traveling to poor countries and helping them with food and medicine, which is a lot better than giving away free software.

I really don't follow how one would lose their own subscribers if they gave shoutouts and made collab videos... That is exactly what binds YouTube users together. From shoutout videos, I have found out about some amazing channels that I couldn't have stumbled upon on my own, and -- far from making me unsubscribe -- it only made me appreciate the famous youtuber more than before, because s/he expanded my horizons.

A lot of people all over the world do good deeds without asking for something in return. Sorry to hear that you find the act of giving a helping hand to a fellow human so outrageous.

OK that response just reached a new level of dumb...
You aren't understanding any of my points at all.
Yes, many people do YouTube without monetization (Me being one of them, so no I don't want your PM)... But this is totally irrelevant to everything??
My point was, you don't NEED a shout out. It makes YOU the greedy person to EXPECT big channels to just shout out for you. If your content is good and consistent, you will get subscribers how everybody else gets them.
You won't just get some quick easy solution for instant YouTube success by begging for a shout out.

Yes, I know Bill Gates does a lot of charity work... This is also not relevant at all to anything being said...

My point is, just because somebody has a lot (Of whatever you're talking about... Subscribers/money) that doesn't mean that they should then give out what they've earned by working hard for no reason. You are not a starving child. You do not NEED a shout out. This isn't even an important issue and it's actually boring me...

Again, I will repeat. You will not get a random shout out.
If people like your content, subscribers will come to you and they will tell their friends + like your videos etc.
Getting mad over the fact that big names don't shout out for little names makes you a selfish person.

One may want to...use the online popularity as a ramp to getting a job in real-life showbiz.

Some of us don't consider there to be a distinction between YouTube and "real-life showbiz". It's also worth noting that many "real-life" celebrities do pretty poorly on the YouTube platform.

I really don't follow how one would lose their own subscribers if they gave shoutouts and made collab videos...

YouTube is a personality-based medium, and the biggest asset a YouTuber can grow (more important than views, subs, etc), is audience trust. If I were to say "Go check out [insert terrible channel]" in one of my videos, the implication is that I value my audience's time so poorly, that I would send them to watch something they're not likely to enjoy. I hurt my own credibility by doing that.

And from a practical standpoint, if I were to send my audience over to terrible content, the next time I were to give a shout-out, fewer people would click over - I'd have broken my audience's trust.

People have to be selective about who they shout-out and collab with, out of respect for their own audience, and for other YouTubers who may be more deserving of a recommendation.
