Where do haters go?

Can vouch for this.

I shared something on there recently, got about 70 views, one like and two dislikes. First dislike on any of my videos. I knew it would happen, hell, I always knew there was a possibility of something even worse happening, but it is kind of a bummer. But whatevs.
 
I once posted a video, and someone from Germany unsubbed. Then, a few days later, someone from Germany (presumably the same person), came back and disliked almost all of my videos. No idea what I could have done to make them so angry -- I didn't speak in any of the videos they disliked. ^^

There are always going to be grumpy people out there who just want to bring others down. Don't fall for it! :o It's hard to ignore hate, but try your hardest to focus on all the positive comments and subscribers. Any energy spent on negative people should actually be spent on the positive people. ^^

Some haters genuinely don't like you or your content, some are just mean people, some are going through stuff and want to project their negative feelings onto you. Sometimes the hate is enduring, where they dislike span everything you do even for months to come, sometimes they will troll your comment section (good for your channel since it adds to your comments and views), and sometimes the hate wanes and they move on or forget about you. Especially if you never take their bait and respond to the hate (hey, nice rhyme!).

I once had a hater who commented and dm-ed some really ugly words to me, calling me awful names. I'm cool with people saying I suck or my content sucks, but derogatory name calling or threats are not tolerated and turn into an instant block and report. So I did this, and they immediately started disliking all of my videos on multiple accounts. This persisted for a few months, until they either forgot about me, realized I wouldn't take the bait, or got through whatever bad thing they were going through in life.

It's important to not care about the hate, and focus on the positives. Take note of criticism if it's constructive, but don't let it mess with you. It's your content not theirs, so the only opinion that matters in the end is your own.

Even haters get tired some time. If you continue to pursue and make more videos, they tend to get bored and realize that you don't care how much they hate your content.

Initially I was a sensitive person, so when I did do get hate, it made me upset.

In contrast, I get very happy when I get nice comments about my work. When I made my first post on Yttalk as an introduction, I was met with many friendly comments on my channel, and was very happy to be welcomed by the community.

People on the internet are sick, so I just don't take their hate seriously anymore. For example, along time ago on a different channel, I made a video and some people told me to kill myself and stuff. I think its ridiculous that people can get so infuriated with you for making something they don't think is funny. The video wasn't even offensive or anything; it was a satire that some people didn't resonate with. I don't understand where this mindset comes from.
 
I get loads of hate, it makes me laugh. i dont delete the comments i just leave them there. Im over it. i was bullied when i was younger so i HAVE really thick skin.

Dont let it get you down and keep up the good work x
 
I haven't had one yet, but i'm also not looking forward to them either. I keep thinking to prepare myself for when the day comes. I just keep thinking, "kill em with kindness" Cuz they never know how to respond to that it freaks em out. lol
 
success always breeds hate in every aspect. jealousy makes people so ugly and when you throw the internet into the mix it's so easy to abuse people. my channel is still super new so i haven't gotten any hate on there but i've definitely shared things online that have been attacked by strangers. doesn't really bug me. everything i make is primarily for myself, so if i like it, who gives a s**t?
 
Haters usually stop hating when you don't stop making videos. Haters are everywhere on YOUTUBE to discourage the content creators. Its their choice, so we shouldn't be bothered much about it. We should keep making our best videos.
