What's your camera equipment?

I use a Sony CX240, but sadly it doesn't have an external mic port. Fortunately I do all of my recording indoors, so I just record my audio on my PC using an Audio Technica AT822.

Hey what's up guys! I just wanted to know what camera do you use to record on? What's your grab n go camera? Pros and cons ?I am currently using a Sony a6000! I love this mirrorless camera it's amazing :) also use a joby gorillapod! Drop a comment and let me know what you use ! Thanks beautiful people.

Hi ,

I've moved your thread to the hardware forum. :)

I have a Canon Ixus 220 HS.

Haha all good rachel. Your videos are still high quality!
Thanks Allen :) Out of curiosity though, (this question is directed towards really anyone) if I were to buy a new camera with a budget of about $300, what do you think my best option would be in terms of high audio and visual quality?

Ahh that's a little tough because better cameras are usually around 500 dollars But if you have a 300 dollar budget, you can go for a point and shoot canon powershot . That's all I can really think of. But if you're not in a rush for a new camera then you should definitely save up:)

The Sony Handycam line has some cameras in the sub $300 range, and I'm loving my CX240 (a Handycam from 2014). Of course, I found mine in a thrift store for $40, so you might want to try second hand shops.

If you want to see the CX240 in action, check out some of my more recent thrift videos. Now if only I could find a better lighting setup for cheap...

I use a Canon 700D for sitting down shots, G7X for vlogs and Gopro for underwater shots :giggle: Tripods - got a gorillapod, Manfrotto and a bigger one I don't know the brand of :bounce:
