What Are YOUR Thoughts on "Self-Promotion"?

I don't care for it one bit.
I delete any comments on my videos that are even slightly self-promoting.

I do not like it. I have a subscriber who does nothing but spam (I have a new video) on my videos when they are posted. I think for the most part, it doesn't work well, and can give you a bad name if done wrong.

It depends I think. Spamming is obviously bad, but then I've also included direct links of my videos to comment sections in the past where its a very specific topic, and it went very well.
