Too Long?

If it's over 10 minutes, it boils down to how much I like the creator and/or the topic of the video. If it's one of my favourites, then I'll more than likely watch it - although I tend to put them off and then marathon them all later while eating junk food like the worthless scrub that I am.
 
It depends on the video type.. If someone is just talking about random stuff, then I can usually sit through about 5 minutes unless I'm super interested in whatever topic they are talking about. I can watch really long how-to videos where they are demonstrating something. There's this one lady, beadifulnights, who shows you how to make pretty beaded jewelry, and I can literally stare at the screen for hours and hours watching her make different things.
 
Really video and creator dependent. Some lets play youtubers I've watched have strings of videos that are 10-40 minutes long but I watch them because I really really really enjoy their content. On the other hand, for somebody that I haven't really connected to yet, the time frame is around that 5-10 minute mark.
 
I don't like to watch really long videos unless I am already in love with that person... so if its longer than 7 mins.. I wont do it

I'm normally happy with anything between 3-7 minutes. I do wonder if some of those 7 minute videos can be condensed into something shorter, but sometimes the 7 minutes is required.

I rarely watch videos that are 15 minutes long, as I'm normally busy and can't dedicate 1/4 of an hour on something that (as you said) may just be them sitting in front of the camera. Unless I really care about the topic!
 
Most of what I watch is under 10 minutes. If it's 13 minutes and looks good, I might save it for later. If it's over 15 minutes I will likely never get around to watching it.
 
I'd say you hit the nail at 15 minutes. I once did a 20 minute video (that was the very last video on my old channel.) Usually if I make a video over 15 minutes I'll make it a two part video.
 
Under 5 minutes for how to videos.
Under 15 minutes for let's plays.
Under 10 minutes for gameplay tips and tricks details.
Under 10 minutes for funny moments.
That is pretty much it :p
