Too Long?

How long is too long for you to want to click on a video? I guess with gaming it may be a bit different, but I tend to watch more vlog, how-to, comedy and general content, and anything beyond 15 minutes makes me wonder if it's worth it. Especially anything that is basically someone sitting on their bed (couch, kitchen chair) and talking to a camera.

What's your time frame? What's too long for you?
 
Depends on the content for me! Being another vlogger though, if it's travelling around and there's a constant change of scenery (Casey being an example- he never sits still) then I can watch for hours.

If the person is sitting still I can watch it if they're an extremely engaging person and the editing is good. Tyrannosauruslexxx or Emma Blackery for example. Tops 10 minutes on this type of vlog for me though before I get distracted by something else.

If the person is sitting on a bed and their lighting is awful, and they're recording with a mouldy potato, I barely get past the five second mark.
 
What I watch is mostly music videos. That being said, I will not actively listen to anything on YT over 15 minutes. I hate whole album uploads with a passion: even if I had the time for those uploads, I much prefer having the option to, for instance, shuffle the play order of songs, as is possible in iTunes.
 
Between 5 and 10 minutes for most videos I feel a greater urge to binge watch someones videos if theyre within that time frame because it doesn't feel like long :)
 
There are a few people I will watch if it's over the 10 minute mark.

Cinemassacres marathons, Top 15s, and Yuriofwind are a few that I can handle more than that.

I usually click on the videos if they reach over 15 to 20 minutes anyways and see if they are interesting to me after about three minutes.

Always gotta give them a chance lol
 
Yeah, I'm right there in the 10 minute ballpark. Longer than that, and it's either going in the background while I do other things, or I'll eventually set aside special time when I really want to watch it and focus on it later.
 
Totally depends on the content for me, but generally speaking, I would say anything much above then ten minute mark would have to be of very specific interest for me.
