The rude comments

Okay so I have had my channel up for about a month now and have 6 videos out (gaming channel) and I have already encountered two people just being straight up rude to me when they dont even have any videos themselves. Now being the type of person I am this does not bother me. I kindly and passive aggressively commented back with what I felt was the right thing to do (I could be wrong) but I just want other people to know that haters are great embrace what they say. I know am aware that not everyone is the same and maybe cant take the hate but I want everybody to realize that the people hating on you are either jealous or just plain stupid and all they have the ability to do is hate. Stay positive my fellow youtubers, whether youre getting hate or not.

Usually best not to respond or hide them from your channel if they are trolling, responding does nothing but encourage them to provoke you further.

Check out what I said to them. they were on my most recent and my second video. its not that i am provoked by rude comments in anyway, i love getting rude comments
 
Don't feed the trolls.
That's one of the big rules of the internet, seriously, it'll only end poorly for you.
Just let them leave their s****y comments and have them be on their way, it's much easier for everyone, including you.
 
VigilantRager, you're missing out on some quality rude comments, man. Here are some I recently got. Both people had requested that I put up my edit of a certain TV show theme song. I reply to their request and tell them I've put it on my list, and then I give them a link. This list has tons of entries in it and they naturally get added to the bottom. First come, first served, and all that. But at the top of the list I give the option to pay me $5 to have one done immediately, just to give more options.

The first person, Allie McAllister, wanted me to do the Grossery Gang theme song and I gave her my standard reply. She didn't like that it estimated hers would be done in June of 2019 and wanted me to do it now. When the next video went up and it wasn't hers, she started getting upset. She wrote a lot more than what I'm posting here, but she ended up deleting most of it, so I'm only left with a little bit. Shame.

Her: Make the grossery gang theme! Or I will be angry and throw a tantrum!
Me: There is only one way to get me to do a video immediately, and neither experiencing emotions, nor letting them control your actions, will do it. But feel free to throw tantrums to your heart's content.
Her: I want it in 2017 now!

Her: I swear! If you dont do it! I will get your channel terminated and i dont want to do this!
Me: Sorry, getting my channel terminated is also not the way to get me to do your video suggestion. Try again.

The other recent example is Talking Tom Fun. I'll let him speak for himself.

Me: lol, I’m a retard when I reply to every one of your comments? And then you don’t bother reading them and instead keep posting the same thing over and over as if I never replied. Yeah, I’m the retard. Sure.

I usually just DELETE them because my channel is very small so deleting them is not a hassle. If I were a bigger channel I would just ignore them. Negative people and those with nasty attitudes are not worth your time.
 
I don't really get any trollish behaviour, snide remarks or insults on my channel right now, having a small subscriber base and not a whole lot of attention brought to my videos at the moment. If I did get that exposure I'm sure I would get a whole lot of easy insults hurled my way haha so I'm feeling pretty deserted without them. A sure sign I've got to step it up a bit!
 
Simple rules. Block trolls and delete hateful comments. Only respond to intelligently constructive criticism that is presented in a curious manner. Here is an example of what I am talking about.

Viewer: Hi. I really liked your video, but I wish you would have covered this issue, or explained that issue better. Thank you for your hard work and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Creator: Thank you for your valuable feedback. I will try to cover what you suggested in a future video. Thanks again and please let me know if there is something else you would like me to make a video on.

Viewers that care enough to give you feedback, even if critical (respectfully so), are very valuable and will help you learn to make better videos. But trolls and haters are not worth the time and effort. Just block tolls and delete haters comments. Keep your channel positive.
