Also there are a few people on the forums that warn me about promoting my videos or copying and pasting, but to be honest i don't know everything about the forums my friend Callan told me about it.

Pierre, normally I would do this via PM but since you have taken the decision to to do this publicly, I'm going to reply publicly to give everyone the full context.

You have 2,500 posts here! You joined in February 2015 which was a month after I stepped down as a staff member. I recently came back on to the team as admin and when I came back, you already had 5 official warnings from previous staff members for copy-pasting and breaking other self-promotion rules. You have also been banned in the past by previous mods. With each of those 5 official warnings, there was a link to the forum's rules (Here they are again: YTtalk Rules and Guidelines )

So why are you saying "I don't know everything about the forums my friend Callan told me about it" ?!!!

Also, if you didn't know know about the rule of "no promotion outside the video/channels forum", then you wouldn't know about VIP would you? But you are a VIP member. Which means you've read the rules about promotion.

And just in case, you'd forgotten about those 5 reminders of the rules - 2 days ago, your thread in the scripts / ideas forum was starting to get self-promotional, so I (very politely) reminded you that if you wanted to promote, it goes in the video/channels forum. Here is my very polite reminder: "Hi Pierre. Please use the "videos / channels" sub-forum for promotion. Thanks. :)" (Source: http://yttalk.com/threads/about-my-channel.225350/#post-1998153 )

You replied to my polite reminder: "Sorry i have done! I'm just trying to get as many views as possible :( Sorry bout that." and naively I thought that everything was cool, and that would be the end of it.

So you can imagine my dismay yesterday when I saw your thread in the main Youtube forum where you posted your latest video (the same one) with some bs pretext of asking for advice: "Is the title good?" - I'm sorry, but you're taking the p**s and that is why you got your 6th official warning. You have also failed to mention my polite PM which accompanied that 6th warning yesterday. Here's a copy-paste of my PM so that everyone can see that I have been extremely fair:

"(Come on, man, I had already politely reminded you about this. This is just an excuse to promote your video in the main forum. I have no choice but to give you this official warning):"

TL;DR - Stop trying to act like a victim. You have been given the link to the forum's rules more than any other member here. In fact you probably know the rules better than the person who wrote them.

Yeah that's because im having issues with choosing good editing software's plus my dad uses the computer half the time.
sony vegas is the best editing software out there for Windows IMO, otherwise just stick with Movie Maker.[DOUBLEPOST=1469295802,1469295643][/DOUBLEPOST]

6 warnings? geesh, i feel like we have some sort of a troll

i have the same problem a you, i started my first youtube channel in April and so far my views on all 3 of my videos are under 1000 views. And have a subscribe base of under 30.

However i know i am lacking in some places
- Audio quality
- Connecting with my viewers in a personal and funny way (which i normaly do in person but on the videos i find it difficult to do)
- Continuous video content to the channel.

The main aim i have is to try and upload the most current content as my channel is about the "Top Most Trends" that are currently around.

I try and post a few times a day to my social media network
- Facebook groups
- Google + Groups
- Twitter
- Instagram

(Also do not forget to hashtag your posts.)

However i think the most important thing is to enjoy what you are doing and be patient about the content you are creating.

@Pierre Maynard

If you want to improve your videos:
-Read the rules for requesting a review (http://yttalk.com/threads/requesting-a-review.60706/) and request a review in the reviews / feedback forum ( http://yttalk.com/forums/reviews-channel-feedback.64/ )

If you want to promote your videos:
Post them in your sig or the videos / channels forum: http://yttalk.com/forums/videos-channels.9/

Any attempt to bypass those 2 rules by "accidently" posting in the wrong forum will result in yet another official warning (which would probably automatically ban you by default). - The moderators are no longer going to move your threads because you've been here long enough to know where threads belong.

Like I said, this would normally be discussed in private, but you decided to publicly complain so here is my public reply to you.

(Locking this thread. If you want to improve your channel, ask for a review.)
