Stories about something messing up a recording?

Two things happen a lot with my videos. My apartment has a fan that will randomly turn on whenever it pleases. The only way to ensure it won't turn on while I'm recording is use my apartment's electric panel box thing to turn off the power, which I often forget to do...I also have a really noisy refrigerator. >.>

The other thing that messes stuff up is people taking pictures of me when I'm trying to make a video outside in public. It has happened almost every time I've made a video outside. As soon as I see a camera's flash, I know I need to do another take.. =(

I have cockatiels and currently they are in the same room as my computer so they interrupt in a multitude of ways. They've basically become a staple on my livestreams at this point because they NEED to join in when they hear me talking haha.

The only thing that messes up my recording is when my computer randomly decides to log out which stops the recording on my capture card. I get so frustrated when this happens.

LoL, They've Been Doing Roadwork Outside My House For Over a MONTH Now, From 08.00 in the morning til 18.00 at night, They're At It, Some Days They Make SO Much Noise, It's Non-Stop DRILLING Into Concrete-ground ALL DAY LONG

At First, It Was Driving Me PRETTY Insane xD I Gotta' Admit

I live in the middle of nowhere too, so you'd think it's okay - but I've had my cat, my neighbour, and random farm animals interrupting :p Adobe Audition has been a godsend for sounds like doorbells and phones!

Not all the time but usually its the birds chirping and hanging out on my window pane that even if I shoo them away, they keep coming back. Then rarely there's the airplane, police sirens, construction work, dogs barking or cats in heat. lol

*Mom comes in the room* ''Awww, you're doing your YouTube thing there? That's so cute!''
And multiply that my 10.

I once recorded Kaizo Mario World (SMW Hack) for about 2-3 hours...and right when I was finished, I hit save but Camtasia froze on me so I almost flipped my computer over. I hit the desk in rage XD and it shut off (This was my trash computer btw) and I restarted, Camtasia gave me the option to restore it so I did and it got to literally....99% restored and then died, I went back and I couldn't restore it anymore so I just flew out my room, jumped down the stairs, and cried in the corner...
