Review my video and I'll review yours!

Lmfao your video is hilarious! Some say make it shorter some say add music, but truthfully I disagree. Music takes away from fail compilations and longer is actually better in these sort of videos. So I would say keep THIS format up.

With a compilation like this, long clips help with the anticipation and it'll keep people watching. I know it certainly does for me, especially the first clip. Also, having soft music isn't necessary as it can be distracting with this kind of thing - those with noise probably shouldn't have music. Clips without noise, maybe? It's up to you.

It's good content, I've actually never seen half those videos before. Maybe if you name your videos according to your best clip or a very rare one, it can get more views.

I'd also suggest tagging according to each clip as that would help immensely as well. Keep it up!

Thanks a lot mate, your ideas seem rather great, indeed! I will be sure to see how my vids would look using them.

I've checked out 2 of your vids, and as much as I enjoyed them, they felt rather "raw". This might have been done like that on purpose as part of a "minimalistic" design plan, but I feel like a short intro and maybe an outro with annotations to other ones of your content could help you out greatly in your growing process. Also, just like others adviced it to me, I shall to you: some silent, content-friendly background music would really liven up the mood during those gaming sessions.
Hope you manage well, good luck!

Thank you! I defentily will add an outro and annotations. Thank you SO much for your help :)

Thank you, I sure am glad to hear an opinion that matches what I had in mind when made the vids this way! I guess I can make it so that both groups will be satisfied by only cutting off the more boring parts and only putting in music behind the clips too silent.

I've watched your video by the name "I failed University - Story Time". First about the intro. It was just as short as it was good - and it was really good! I think an intro of that quality could easily go on for 8-10 sec, though honestly I could watch it for minutes. The topic was interesting enough, the 9 min run time flew away pretty quickly - though it might have been cuz I could relate to the topic. Although while watching I wasn't sure if it's a let's play or a VLOG, but I guess it can be both sometimes 8). Your outro is rather complete, it seems to contain everything it possibly can...
Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your advice! I've been thinking about giving them more unique names instead of just numbers in at the end, but I'm still trying to figure out what exactly would be the best way to go about that. As for the tagging, I will definitely customize them later, though as far as I know it makes no difference yet, since unfortunately you won't get properly ranked in the search engine until you reach a certain number of subs or views anyway. I will make sure to look out for that when I'm bigger though \o/

I've watched the latest one of your vids. I guess the first thing that struck me was the missing intro, which could help you out a lot with brand recognition and added watch time. The content itself was interesting to me since I also play CS:GO sometimes (though mostly just Arms Race gun games). What I noticed in the vid is that audio is not always consistent, making it occasionally hard to endure at the same volume at which I started to play it. The occasional notes are not a bad idea, but the font type felt kind of hard to read, especially with the entire screen also turning black and white, not to mention it sometimes even felt annoying when I was eager to see what's going to happen next in game and things just froze for the text. I would probably do the notes the way you did the "less meaningful ones" - without actually freezing the video, with smaller text, and easily readable font. Now, I really don't want to go into politics here, but the symbol you're using might be appealing to some, while it might right away repel others far away from your channel. This is up to you to decide if you want to risk that, of course. The outro was unique enough, though it could use some annotations with links to other ones of your vids for sure.
Hope this has been useful for you, best of luck!
