I feel the same way too. I am thinking if we should just restart iur channel to something new. Our views are dropping notlike before we started four months ago. Do you think it is worth to restart? Could you guys check out our channel and let us know what us going on or what is wrong? Any advices to correct the mistakes will really help us. Thanks
We weren't thinking about restarting our channel ourselves tho, it's just been a phenomenon that I see more and more often.

As for your channel; I wouldn't see anything that you might be doing wrong. It all looks fine to me.

Well at the *very end* Derral Eves was asked this very question. He said always jump start don't start a new one. He mentioned something about the 100 days. I assume that the first 100 days are the hardest because the algorithm sees you have 0 watch time 0 views 0 thumbs 0 comments. BUT if you jump start you have all those, just not "fresh".

Hmm. Ironic, can't link to a Youtube video. So I guess search for him and see his latest video lol

My opinion is not to quit / restart your entire channel. I don't think it should be looked at like a gamertag or Xbox Live account you can just create, get bored with, and move on to the next one (I know a lot of ppl do this regardless).

However, I think a channel that is considering this should focus re-branding / re-launching their brand. This is something that happens in business all of the time. It takes considerable effort to do that, but it's much more worthwhile than starting over with the same content and crossing your fingers.

Exactly my thoughts.

One of the channels I'm subbed to just restarted yesterday actually.

He had nearly 900 on his old channel, and has 7 on his new one currently.

I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to start fresh if you feel like something is holding you back/ dragging you down.
Like anything in life, sometimes the best way to get a second chance, is to let go of the old stuff, so you may start anew.
