Just tried it. Pretty interesting, as you can promote your website if you have one, promote merchandise, promote a fundraiser, or promote one of your videos or playlists.

If you use the Add Watermark feature on your videos, the subscribe button shows up when a user hovers their mouse over your watermark. Not as eye catching as a subscribe image or annotation, but it's another option.
 
I like the Water Mark Feature.... gets my logo in there... does this do away with that? or when you hover over the new "card" section comes up?
 
Be sure to mention it in your videos so that we can educate our audiences about them.

I can't wait for the analytics to start showing up!

That would be definitely interesting as I currently only link to he playlist of the video. One thing YouTube mentioned is not to point at the "i" as the position may vary depending on the device that is used.
