New channel or separate play list

I just recently thought of posting some videos different from my usual content and was wondering if it'd be better to start a whole new channel or just create a separate play list. Please help.

Depends how different they are. If they are totally completely irrelevant to your current channel niche, then I would suggest putting off that new idea for now & concentrate on your current niche/channel or if you really want to try grow two channels at once then do that
