Massive drop in views on kid channels

I think the problem with yours is that all your videos about pixar cars and these videos are old and not trending much anymore. Try to make similar stuff related to pixar's newest work like toy story 4 or some upcoming Disney cartoons.

Basically not that many kids type pixar cars toys anymore. The hype is over like with spinners. Plus youtube now fights repetitive content within a channel.

Music channels will always be popular because kids always listen to it.

I have tried all of what you suggest and they get less views than my regular, plus the Pixar Cars videos are still getting millions of views on some channels and even though they are old, they are evergreen, and shouldn't go out of style, especially when so many channels with Pixar Cars are getting lots of views.
What I do notice when I am watching the real time views , I see many videos pop up in the top 25 and get lots of views for a few minutes, and then almost like a switch they are shut off or removed from the suggested spot and they drop to zero views. It's happening right now to about 5 videos , they pop up and get a pile of views in a short time, then click to zero again. Almost like they are being throttled . ( but that is impossible right ? )

I agree with random up and down. It is very strange. There is a rumor that the algo can keep you at certain level called a view limiter. So if it decides 100 views a day that's all you will get. If people search for you and you get 10 views from you the algo will give you another 90. next day if 60 people search for you the algo will give you only 40 views. never ending battle
 
I think what it means is all content that is not appropriate and targeted at children will be restricted. So it might mean things will go back to normal which is good news.
At the moment most kids content is on hold while they work out how to restrict bad content.

they are cleaning up bad content. Then will everything be alright?
