Loving YTtalk
What amazes me commercial free childhood site. And who is gonna work for free making the content and spending money creating it?
No one is saying you can't make money off it. You just can't have certain kinds of advertising. The Youtube kids app has complaint ads, but those kinds of ads are not very lucrative and not many of them unless it is Christmas time. Kids content on TV is strictly regulated with advertising. For instance, the law doesn't allow Disney to show Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and then show an ad for Mickey Mouse t-shirts. You are free to start charging parents for your content, put it on a DVD, or put it on cable. You can also sign endorsement deals and do paid promotions. What you can't do anymore, is make a video geared for a small child and collect a ton of money from ads that can't legally be displayed to small kids.
