Making Money...

lets talk about the all important ... MONEY with there being a side to YouTube of fun and entertaining if your not making any money from it you can't improve your content I want to know if there is any site with NO subscriber minimum that is like fame bit again I'm not all about the money for YouTube but in order to grow and improve you Gotta spend a bit and plus my parents are gonna be broke if I keep asking them for stuff

How old are you? You could consider a job. Not even trying to be rude. I don't ask my parents for any equipment, I'll work 35+ hours a week PLUS going to school in order to afford a new lens or rig. It makes using your equipment more gratifying in the end anyway knowing you earned it yourself.

I'm 14 Plus I think you are earning it yourself with Brand Sponserships YouTube takes time and effort as I'm sure you will understand. I don't agree when you imply that if you are getting brand deals then your not earning it I'm not trying to be rude either but that's not how I view it, thanks for your help anyway.

Really don't wanna put a downer on you dude but the big brands wont sponsor you with a small channel (if you have one) they want 100k+ views so they reach a larger audience.

Also your best bet is to try and get some part time work, could be anything from cutting hedges, washing cars etc. Atleast at the end of it you will have a dedicated story to tell about how you began on youtube and how you worked for what you have.

I currently work 60 hour week (5 x 12hr shifts) so any piece if equipment i purchase i know i have truly earnt it and it adds to the pleasure of owning it :) goodluck to you!

You see that door? Go trough it. Money is like fight club. You don't talk about fight club. It is the #1 ticket to purgatory. If you are about the money you don't belong on YouTube. YouTube is for those with passion for creating. That can lead to money. There is no YouTuber that I know of that hates doing their YouTube job. They all love it. Because they started something from zip and it turned into something big. Those that start with threads like these? Fail. Miserably. 99.99999% of the time.

Its sad but youtube cant be your first, second or third priority when your small. Jobs pay the bills, videos don't. Wait until your bigger to start thinking about youtube income.

Triple thumbs up! We all work and in love to hear people tell it like it is.

Besides that what the heck are we all checking this site on?? Even an iPhone 4, which is not even updated anymore can make videos and edit them. Every hardware set up has broadband a camera and mic and some sort of editing soft.

actually if I didn't work I'd never make videos because I'm too busy at home. All those with more kids than fingers on one hand know what I'm talking about hah
