A Breath, A Flow, A Memory ️ Straw Blown Acrylic Pour + New Hope Photo Story

In this video, I’m creating a fluid acrylic painting using a simple straw… just air, paint, and a bit of intuition. ️By gently blowing the paint across the canvas, organic shapes start to form—soft, flowing, and completely unpredictable. It’s one of those techniques where you don’t control everything… you collaborate with it.This process is calming, almost meditative. A breath becomes a movement. A movement becomes a story.

At the end of the video, I’m sharing a few special moments from my recent exhibition in New Hope—a beautiful experience I’ll carry with me for a long time. Seeing my work on display, meeting people in person, and feeling that connection beyond the screen… it meant more than I can put into words. Wrecked to Perfection Feathery Acrylic Pouring Technique​

In this video, I’m creating a feathery straight pour with a twist—two gentle wrecks that transform the flow into delicate, feather-like details.I start with a white base and a carefully layered cup, then let gravity do its quiet work. Finally sharing my latest fluid art creation! ​

What happens when you pour acrylic paint through an egg separator?

Well… I wasn't quite sure either! For this acrylic pouring experiment, I mixed my paints with a little craft PVA glue and decided to try something completely different. Instead of using a traditional pouring tool, I used an egg separator to layer and pour the paint onto the canvas.The paint created some really interesting patterns, cells, and unexpected shapes along the way—and I absolutely love how the final painting came together.

It has a bit of an ocean/water landscape feeling to me. I never quite know where these experiments are going to end up, and honestly, that's one of my favorite things about fluid art.
