Modified bloom ~ Acrylic pour painting ~ Fluid art technique

I'm still trying to find products that I can buy in Slovenia and it will work for bloom technique. I one, that it works nice, but I'm still struggling with blowing part. But... With practice I will master it :D

TECHIQUE: Bloom technique
COLOURS:
* Boesner white with GAC800 and some water for a pillow
Amsterdam permanent red violet
Primary elements Autumn Leaf, Mango mamba, Carmen
* Cell activator:
Amsterdam titanium white and Australian floetrol

MATERIAL:
- 8x8 inch canvas
- Wooden skewer
- Palete knife
- Cake spinner
- Torch

From DOTS to FLOWER ~ Easy acrylic pour flower painting ~ Diagonal Reverse dip
This is the 6th simple acrylic pouring technique, which shows you how to paint a flower without a brush. This time I did some dots in the shape of a flower and reverse dip with paper napkin.
I'm using the same colours with different paint layering in all those videos, that we can see a difference.

COLOURS:
- Amsterdam titanium white for background
- Arties colours cadmium red deep
- Arties colours alizarian crimson
- Decoart 24K gold
- Amsterdam oxide black
- Amsterdam olive green
- Windsor&Newton green gold
- Pearl white

My pearl white mixture:
1 part Vallejo pearl medium
1 part titanium white
2 parts pouring medium
All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.


MATERIAL:
- 8x10 inch canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- Paper napkin
- Palete knife
- Torch

Beautiful diptych with simple double dip ~ Acrylic pour painting ~ Fluid art for beginners
Dip technique is really simple way to do nice painting without skills for drawing. Just drizzle some paint, dip them and you get a beautiful acrylic pour diptych painting.

TECHNIQUE: Double dip, Dip technique acrylic pour

PROCESS:
- Pour your base on canvas
- Make stripes with your colours
- Pres the second canvas/wood/tile on top
- Split them apart
Colours:
- Amsterdam turquoise blue mixed with Artist's loft metallic cobalt blue
- Maimeri bordeaux mixed with Decoart extreme sheen garnet
- Golden quinacridone nickel azo gold
- Amsterdam azo yellow deep hue
- Amsterdam naples yellow red light
- Pearl white

MATERIAL:
- 6x10 inch canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- Wooden skewer
- Palete knife
- Torch

My pearl white mixture:
1 part Vallejo pearl medium
1 part titanium white
2 parts pouring medium

Amazing DIPTYCH with DOUBLE DIP technique ~ Third time's a charm ~ Acrylic pour painting

In this video you will see my process with trying new mixtures and consistencies. I did this amazing diptych with double dip technique. I added Vallejo polyurethane satin varnish into my white mixture and I failed two times. Then I pour some really thin black on the other colours, dip again and WAW... I love the effects that I got... As we say a lot of times, Third time's a charm :bounce:

TECHNIQUE: Double dip

COLOURS:
- Thinned down Amsterdam Oxide black
- Cadence dora metallics sapphire
- Amsterdam permanent blue violet
- Amsterdam greenish yellow
- Amsterdam olive green
- Golden permanent deep violet
- Pebeo iridescent violet blue
- Decoart 24K gold
- Amsterdam white and polyurethane satin varnish

Flower dip with 3D printed cup ~ Acrylic pour painting ~ Reverse flower dip with paper napkin
It's been a while since I did reverse flower dip with 3d printed cup. I missed my flowers, so I want to do one in mostly violet shades, inspired by violets that started blooming around our house. Yey, spring is coming :D

PROCESS:
- Pour your base on canvas
- Put your 3D PRINTED FLOWER SHAPED CUP on the canvas with bottom up
- Pour paints on the bottom and use PEARL WHITE or some metallic paints between each colour to create petal - lacing effect
- Take off the cup
- Use SKEWER to draw some petal shapes
- Gently put PAPER NAPKIN or towel on canvas ( You can use dry or damped napkin)
- Lift one corner at the time and then gently lift it (the middle last)
- Torch it for air bubbles and to activate pearl white and metallic paints
- And here is your flower :)
TECHNIQUE: Reverse flower dip with paper napkin, Cup bottom pour

MATERIAL:
- 10x10 inch canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- 3D PRINTED Flower shaped cup
- Paper napkin or towel
- Wooden skewer
- Palete knife
- Torch

COLOURS:
- Cadence dora metallics lavender
- Amsterdam permanent blue violet
- Amsterdam greenish yellow
- Golden permanent deep violet
- Pebeo iridescent violet blue
- Amsterdam white for base coat
- Pearl white

Double dip on round canvas board ~ Diptych acrylic painting ~ Fluid art for beginners

I did few double dip acrylic paintings on MDF board and canvases, so today I decided to do one on round canvas boards. Dip technique is really simple way to do nice painting without skills for drawing. Just drizzle some paint, dip them and you get a beautiful painting.

I failed 1,2,3,4,5 times to get this beautiful FLOWER ~ Acrylic pour painting
In this video you will see another experiment in my Art studio. I started with dutch pour, continue with balloon kiss and ended up with flower dip. I failed five times, but I didn't give up and at the end I got beautiful flower painting.

Psychedelic BLACK & WHITE spin ~ Acrylic pouring over the PIZZA SAVER
Today is time for experimenting with acrylic paints and gadgets in my studio again.
I had this pizza saver ( Mmmm... I love pizza ) and did another pour over it, but just with black & white. I ended up with an interesting Psychedelic spin. ;)

Lessons with Marina ~ Flower dip for beginners ~ Acrylic pour painting

Another acrylic pouring lesson with my stepdaughter Marina. She choose the colours and we decided that we will do a flower dip. This technique looks really simple, when you watch someone, but when you try, you realise, that this is not easy at all. Like all the other techniques... you need to practice ;)
