Is Youtube Success Just Luck?

I think it's a combination of hard work and luck.
It's also about what's trending and coming up with unique ideas. For example after starting the trend "one hundred layers of" the channel simplynaillogical reached 3 milions(she had 1 mil before if I'm right)
I believe people also like clickbait. Although everyone says it's not ok it's how most youtubers get views.
But to answer your question: yes, it's about luck. There are milions of youtubers out there and not everyone can have succes beacause it is imposible. I think if you just enjoy what you do and do it with passion eventually you will see results after a while.

Just about making that one video with the right title and tags. One of my comedy sketch videos on a different channel I made years ago went viral with almost 2 million views. People started subscribing to that channel when I forgot the all the login info in regards to it. So I'm trying to create that same success with my current channel

Absolutely not. If you go into YouTube hoping to 'get lucky', you're going to be sorely disappointed. If you don't put in the effort to create content that others won't want to see, then you've already dug yourself a grave. Even if that video gets lucky via shoutout or algorithm, nobody is going to stick around to your channel.

Hello best friends,

I just want to ask you guys something Is Youtube Success Just Luck?....I mean most of the time we see small youtubers like me often don't get noticed on youtube.Even we make quality videos, work hard our video not get that many views. So that also take effect on our subscriber base.I see a lot of channels similar to mine don't have quality videos & great thumbnails, even after that they have a great sub base. While I try my best to make my videos-thumbnails & I have to say mine are way better comparing to those channels but the result is same "none of my videos get that many views".So what's about that,is youtube success just luck?..what's your opinion about this topic?...feel free to share your opinion.

Thanks a lot :)
A bit of both! If you get shouted out that's pretty useful, but if you don't work hard on your content no one will want to watch
