Channel art looks fine to me. I've always considered consistency to be the most important you want people to know your brand and yours appears unique and looks good so yeah. Channel art is perfect!

I agree 100%. I don't like the art, but it's just a feeling I personally have about it and I don't know how to change it except that I agree with @Kate (Caitlin)
