If YouTube Shutdown Today Would You Tell People You Had a Successful Channel?

Maybe I should change the title. I am not looking at it as you want to quite because you reached success but if you were forced to quite or if YouTube was shut down.

Oh! sorry man...misunderstood...maybe it's a good idea to change the title...& if youtube shutdown...man I can't think about it cause I have only one dream, that is to be a full time youtuber. But yeap I will obviously tell people that I had a youtube channel that's runs very well but unfortunately youtube shutdown...:D

I can't see youtube ever doing that but if it did I'd probably be depressed for a while.

So look at it this way. You can play baseball and have fun but that wouldn't make you a successful baseball player. Getting signed in the big leagues would make you successful. So where is the success level on YouTube. What measures channel success? Can a small channel be considered successful just as much as a large channel. What would make you say you had a successful YouTube channel the day you retired without saying millions of subs and dollars. There are many channels that are extremely successful with 50,000 subs. Where do you need to be to feel success here?

Ahhhh I understand. Then I would say once I know I've made someones day then my channel would be a success, no matter how big or small!

If your channel was shutdown today would you say you had a successful YouTube channel. What would you base it on to measure it as successful. If not, where would you need to be the day it stopped for you to consider it successful.

I obviously wouldn't say I had a successful channel, seeing that it's doing pretty bad right now. I would base the success on views, and interactions, it would need to be where I want it be for me to consider it successful, though[DOUBLEPOST=1477505542,1477505525][/DOUBLEPOST]
I would say that I was the reason YouTube shut down. Because I like to make things up. :)

lol

Personally, to me, being a success would be actually making a living from doing youtube.

However, i don't think that is how your viewers see it.

If you have people regularly following your channel, and looking forward to videos you create, you are a success in someones eyes. I think that is more to the point. It's not always if you see yourself as a success, but what others see you as. When you know that your videos are putting a smile on someones face, that makes it all worthwhile.

Ok, a little off topic but have to say you are one of my son's favorite YouTubers and he has been watching you for a couple years now. We had so many bonding moments watching your videos and you were one of our inspirations of starting our own channel. Thank you.[DOUBLEPOST=1477489140,1477488410][/DOUBLEPOST]
I agree as a personal success we want our videos to be the best they can be but that is different then your channel being successful.

If you quite YouTube today, do you consider your actual channel successful?
I guess if you put it that way then, yes and no. Not a commercial success, but I think I've brought a lot of happiness to my friends and family through my channel, so in a way.
