Of course.Yes.
Ok, a little off topic but have to say you are one of my son's favorite YouTubers and he has been watching you for a couple years now. We had so many bonding moments watching your videos and you were one of our inspirations of starting our own channel. Thank you.[DOUBLEPOST=1477489140,1477488410][/DOUBLEPOST]Yes.
I agree as a personal success we want our videos to be the best they can be but that is different then your channel being successful.Of course.
Anyway, I used to judge my success by the number of views/subs/likes, whatever. But while it's hard not to look at the numbers, I find that my success should be based on the quality of my videos. The storytelling, the editing, the real content.
So no, my content isn't successful because I haven't told the stories that I wanted to, yet.
Probably not. They would ask 'are you crazy?'If You Quite YouTube Today Would You Tell People You Had a Successful Channel? Why or Why not?
If I quite today I would tell people I had somewhat of a successful channel. Having over 500 subs with almost all of our videos over 100 views and some over 1K I think that might qualify as being somewhat small of a success on a tough platform. Not sure where that would sit in the percentage rankings of YouTube channels.
But currently still going today, I don't consider my channel successful at all yet.
What do you guys think? What do you consider having a successful channel and do you feel successful yet?
So look at it this way. You can play baseball and have fun but that wouldn't make you a successful baseball player. Getting signed in the big leagues would make you successful. So where is the success level on YouTube. What measures channel success? Can a small channel be considered successful just as much as a large channel. What would make you say you had a successful YouTube channel the day you retired without saying millions of subs and dollars. There are many channels that are extremely successful with 50,000 subs. Where do you need to be to feel success here?I would say that it was a success in that I had a ton of fun making my content and was proud of it but was it a success in terms of exposure? No probably not![]()
Maybe I should change the title. I am not looking at it as you want to quite because you reached success but if you were forced to quite or if YouTube was shut down.Of course NO.I mean what I will say to anyone "Hey!! I have a great YouTube channel.Basically it's doing very well & that's the reason I quit it"...lol...nobody quit success.Again success is something that is not equal for everyone.Everyone success is in different level.Just for an example "For a small youtuber like me success is getting your first 100 subs"..while...for a big youtuber success is to reach 100k subs.So the main thing is how you receive your success![]()
