If Youtube didn't have a view counter and couldn't make you money wuld you still make videos for it?

If I didn't have a view counter I would still make videos just for the comments :) I like interacting with people on my channel and my videos...if there was no money then I will still do it!! Especially dance covers! I can't make money off that even now but I still LOVE doing it and won't stop! :)

what if you had no idea how the audience was reacting though. You don't think that'd make a bit of difference? You put out a video and get NO response. have no idea if it was liked, hated, barely even noticed, you just don't even know. You think you'd have the same level of drive to do it? If so man that's great I'm not gonna say you're lying but, I sure wouldn't haha, I have to be able to know my audience's reaction or I might as well be making music for no one in my bedroom again.

I probably would not have lol You::eek: Wahhhhhhhh! -- I started youtube because it allowed more view flexibility. For Smart phones and social sharing etc. If the case was as you said, I would probably only post on newgrounds haha; There I get views and comments, and it's been around since 1999... or earlier.. Funny that youtube is BOSS Though and is the second most popular and visited website in the world. Second to Google!

If i wouldn't get any views or feed back on newgrounds as well, my ambitions as an animator would had ended in high school, when i used to make crappy animations to show my friends in school LOL. That was over 7 years ago D: Is funny how I got inspired 2 years ago to start animating again... YOU SEE, If it wasn't for media connection, I wouldn't had found my passion T.T

Exactly man. I think most of the good content creators are gonna feel like that. If there's no money to be made? Mehhh so what. But if I can't get the feedback of my audience?? Well why not just rip my still beating heart out of my chest why don't ya! lol

LMAO - Word up! Problem is, It takes a while to come up and put up good content. And when you pass 18 years of age TIME = Money because if you don't have MONEY you'll have a lot of BILLS! lol With that said, Youtube gives us an opportunity to convert our TIME in to MONEY so we can pay some BILLS lol nuff said....

Although it takes a while to earn, you have to make sure you are posting things YOU LOVE, so that you do your best. And be consistent. Im going to be more serious with my projects now, I was Hibernating trying to improve before Posting regularly.... So lets see what this year brings :D

Oh seriously, you can keep your stuff to yourself and think about it day in and day out and say you'll make it this and say you'll make it that. It's not until you have a regular audience who is telling you what they think of it, that you will TRULY start to create with that tenacity that you need to fully realize all your potential and ideas. And it's like a never ending thing, you won't ever get there, just keep getting closer.

That's true... Your viewers definitively add to the pressure :D. I had this one guy tell me he wishes I can make 10 minute videos in 10 minutes LOL - unfortunately my p***s is no magic wand :crying:
