If Youtube didn't have a view counter and couldn't make you money wuld you still make videos for it?

Well no actually, the counter makes ZERO difference to me. In fact I would almost enjoy not knowing who was viewing and not commenting. it's the people who want to tell me what they thought that make me want to keep doing it, so view counter's not going to make even a slight difference in my motivation. Take away my comments? That would change EVERYTHING. I would probably not do it if I couldn't recieve feedback.

Only cause I know if those views don't go up there's no chance of getting another comment. if you'll remember I was just as bummed about 40 views going by with no comments, see? see? Thought ya were clever tee heee.....[DOUBLEPOST=1353557241,1353557165][/DOUBLEPOST]That's why I said I'd almost enjoy not knowing the view count. That way I couldn't watch a bunch of views go by that didn't leave a reaction, that just leaves me going "did they feel MEH about it??"
 
For me, I would still make videos if I wasn't able to make money because...even though I was 'able' to make money doesn't mean I was getting any lol.
As far views, well...I sort of did that already when I had no subscribers and still made videos, but it's much more fulfilling to know people enjoy the stuff you create.

Yeah I just want feedback and interaction. Like on the flip side. What if they kept the view counter, but no one could message me or comment... See I'd be on the fence. I think i'd still make videos, but I'd just do it willy nilly and not think about it and it'd be like whatever man.
 
Yes I would because it's not about the money at all, it's about passion, it's something I need to do because I love it.
