UPDATE #3
So this morning I told my mum that 13 is the minimum age to become a partner. She said that 'your still not doing it' I asked why and she said 'Because Stephen(My brother) said so'.....
How do I respond to this?
What do I do?

well, this is just what I would say, but I think your mum is more entitled to choosing, and more than that, you. Say you had no siblings, how would it be decided then? If i'm honest if someone has the choice to let someone be able to make money by making videos but says no, it sorta sounds as if it's because they can't. Just something I thought :)

Hey hun,

I think that a lot of people just don't know what all this youtube businessstuff is about and because they don't understand they are 'scared' of it and just want nothing to do with it.
I don't think you're gonna make your mother understand by just sometimes talking to her a little bit about it. Because obviously she has no interest in listening to you with an open mind/heart.

In these cases I suggest writing the person a thought out letter. This way you can say everything you want to say without being interrupted. And this way the person reading it can take their time to let it sink in and hopefully really think about it. Also, it shows that you are serious about this thing.

I would be very glad to help you write this letter. I am a bit (haha a BIT...) older than you and I might be able to word everything better. Really, let me know if you want me to help. I'm here for ya!

Sounds like what I went through a few years back. I didn't have supportive people around me. Neither my parents or friends. Making videos was weird.
Don't worry about the partnership for now. Once you turn 18, you do as you please. Just continue to make content for the internet.
The thing about this mockery, is that people mock you for being weird unless you're actually REALLY good at this weird thing. They still mock you if you're good, but in a "nicer" way. they tend to get jealous, supportive and mocky all at once.
So, continue making content, grow your channel, get amazingly good at this before turning 18, and you can start making lots of money once you get partnered.

When you get a little older, and get some new friends, they'll likely support you if its something you've been doing for a while. Older people tend to be more supportive (though there are exceptions, like yours and my parents)
