I Need Help On Encouragement

Hello,
So I an amazing group of family and friends which are really nice to me.
But some of them don't encourage my videos at all and some even think that I'm weird for doing them.
I'm quite worried most of all about my mum cause she doesn't support me at all on them and says I'll just become a laughing stock and calls me weird sometimes to....
I'm just really worried about when its gets to that stage (if it ever does) when I want to get partnered cause I'm worried my mum and others won't let me do it.
Then I don't know what I'll do....

I sort of was in the same situation when I was 16-17.

It was the hight of Counter-Strike and I was pretty good at it. Played on a semi-pro level and attended a couple of events around Europe. My parents was very against it and there were many arguments about it when I played too much and I left for a competition. Then one day I invited my parents to come with me and look how an event works and what happened there. After that they were very supportive and understood what gaming was about.

What I try to explain for you is that your mom is probably not supportive because she doenst understand youtube and vlogging. Try to show her some famous vloggers and whay they've accomplished etc and show her what YouTube is all about.

When people lack knowledge of something they get scared and they approach it with a defensive stance and are often very hostile.

Edit: The reason that shes not very supportive is that shes concerned for you and she loves you very much. There are dangers on the Internet and she wants the best for you.
 
Wel show them that you have almost 150 people who watch your shows.. and your video's have been viewed over 2000 times.. you are increasng daily and on a side note if they don't support your passion there is something wrong with them.
 
All I can say is what kind of mother mocks her child? :-/

My advice: don't talk to your friends about it. Don't share it on your personal facebook, etc. Most teenage friends (unless they do the same thing) will mock you for it. I don't tell any of my personal friends, and I'm not even a teen, people just don't understand why unless it's something they've experienced.
 
as I am your age i can tell you what i did: tell them that its something you are really enjoying and that you are uite pationate about it, say if you get good enough you can even get a partner ship, and tell them what this would consist of. just seem really thrilled about the whole idea. they will see that you really enjoy it, and if they are nice they will let you continue with it

So do I just say that being a partner allows you to make money? Because my mum is really uneasy with money as we are having money problems at the moment :L

I for one can vouch for that, i told some freinds about my channel (baring in mind i was the only kid in school with a channel) and it spread around the school like a wild fire. at first everyone thought it was really cool, but then people started uoting my vids and picking at every little mistake i made. in the end I got bullied for it, and thus made a new channel
