I Need Help On Encouragement

There will always be people who don't understand it, and thinks it's weird. Many of my friends thinks it's weird that I do YouTube as well, but I don't let that stop me. I love creating videos, and nothing is going to change that. If you love making videos, you should continue to make videos.

As for your parents, show them that people like watching you. You have almost 150 people who are subscribed to your channel. That's a lot, and it's going to grow the more you do it. When I started YouTube, I already moved out of my parents house so they couldn't stop me even if they tried. But even if I did live with my parents when I started, they still would of let me. My parents have always been the kind that lets me do whatever I want, as long as it wasn't something life threatening. My Step Mom was very skeptical about my videos, but now she's accepted them and watches them. You got to prove to them that this is what you want to do. Make them realize that it's your passion.

So do I just say that being a partner allows you to make money? Because my mum is really uneasy with money as we are having money problems at the moment :L

just say that it gives you lots of new options, and that because you are under 18 you cant do without her permission. tell her that you could make money off it and that it would be a great experience

Partnership doesnt mean instant money. To be honest it doesnt mean a lot these days.

Ah okay thanks, I'm not quite filled in yet on what all of the partnership thing is :L All I know at the moment is that you make money from it.

Most networks have thresholds were you need to earn like 50 or 100$ depending on your contract before you'll ever see any money. Thats like 10 000 views on a video.

It's a misconception that you make money once you're partnered

The thing is that she can potentially make money from her videos, but it's not a definite. She could mention that there is the potential for that happening which may sway her parents.

^Some brilliant advice.
Problem is, she needs someone to sign her contract. :/

I might just casually mention it tommorow and get back to everyone on what she says. But keep in mind I won't be a partner for a long time as at the moment I only have 148 subscribers so I'll have to keep on making the vids that I love and hope I get the right attention.

Show her what it's all about. Make her understand. She is "mocking" you because she doesn't understand. Tell her about it and show her. Use other people as examples, like "these people are doing it too, so I'm not alone".

It may be difficult to make her understand, but she will eventually. Just open yourself to her. :)
