I've Got It
Hello guys,

I needed some help choosing between two lenses
Which one has more quality?

EF 24mm f/2.8 IS USM
EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM

It if for filming RAW with a Canon 5D Mark III

Thank you in advance for any reply
Pedro

I think it depends on if that is your first lens. If you already have a kit lens, go for the 24mm prime. If that would be your first lens for the camera, I'd go for the 24-105mm.

I already have the 24-105mm but I would like to know if the 24mm prime is of better image quality, if yes I would use it for filming, as I don't need the zoom.

Ohhh, I read that wrong. The 24mm is higher quality. It's a faster lens and it has better f-stop range :D

Thank you man, I have been researching on prime lenses and found out that the 24mm f/2.8 IS USM is of very high quality and sharp image, even better than the "L" lens 24-105mm f/4L IS USM.
So I just ordered that 24mm. I have been using the 24-105mm but I don't use the zoom function so I made a good deal.
The 24mm is a prime but the 24-105 its a "L" lens, its a hard comparison hehehe
Thank you for the help man :)

That's awesome! Sounds like you made a great investment.
Yeah I got the 24mm and a stabilizer the Beholder DS1. I was unsure if it was better to get the newer version the Beholder EC1, but after researching I concluded that the EC1 is not worth the money.
So end of the day I got the 24mm for 360USD and the DS1 for 459USD.
Good day of upgrade shopping.
