How were your first few months?

My first couple months I pretty much did news related things for video games. They got loads of views for just starting out. I even have a video that still to this day gains over 200 views every 48 hours (going on 5 months now the peak was 500 a day but i expect it to go up much higher if my prediction is correct). However I got bored with it horribly quick. I realized I wasn't doing it for fun at all because for whatever reason as much as I like talking about vidyas. I hate reporting on them. So I stopped and I figured my channel would just die but that video managed to kind of keep it alive.

Now I do gameplay, list video stuff and I weave my own story into wrestling games. 55% of my monthly views go to that 5 month old video just for comparison to how my channel is now =P, but I'm having a lot more fun that's for sure!

After seeing how everyone talks about getting 100 subs, gets easier/harder, I wanted to know how you guys felt when your channel had no traction or how you felt when your channel started picking up traction!

Everyones experiences are unique and its interesting to see how different people get from point A-B.

P.S. Happy Turkey Day!

Harder because you are just starting out but there is some key things, networking and promoting on social media (getting a following).

Started off with zero subscribers. I'm about a month and a half in, and I've pumped out 52 videos. I produce daily vlogs and irl videos and I've hit 82 subscribers in about a month and a half. I got a solid amount of subs from a giveaway I did but beside that I think overall i'm doing pretty well.

Very slow! I was getting 1,400 views for a few hours on Thanksgiving but now only 300 after 4 months of uploading everyday.. but I am still learning. It's been fun and that is what matters. Maybe one day it will take off. Have fun with it though, if not it will seem more like work :) Hoping you the best!

tbh my first 2 months where very hard.
after 6 months i hit 1k

now I'm on 10 months and i have like 3.2k
its gets easier as you grow getting to 100 is so hard though

I honestly don't remember, well In my defense it was 5 years ago so It might have evaporated from my brain, but I do remember I got 100 subs kinda fast.

One step at a time really. I have not really counted the days. My channel has been around for quite a while but only recently started to get recognised. My growth is slowly increasing so i hope i will gain a healthy amount of subscribers and active ones at that :)

My progress has been glacially slow, but so have my uploads, so there's no surprise there :D I'm sitting at 8 subs and ~150 views after six months, but I also have only 3 videos, since the kind of videos I make take a looooooooooooong while to make :D I haven't exactly promoted myself too much either, it would feel kinda disingenuous with only 3 vids to my name :D This, however, is something I would do regardless, so I have no intention of quitting anytime soon ;) Plus the people who do end up checking out my videos usually say they enjoy them
