How were your first few months?

We started back in June and our well on our way to 850 subscribers! We had a 1000 sub goal by the time Christmas hit, but that is pretty ambitious for a brand new channel, little experience in the YouTube scene, etc. I am so happy with how far we have come and the amazing people we have connected with on the way!

I guess i'm still in my first few months, started in July and have almost 550 subs. I'm pretty happy with how far I have come but have ambitions for the future, as we all know it's hard work though :)

For me, when my channel was getting no subs, I was basically meh about it. Being a smaller YouTuber, I've gotten used to not gaining subs for a long period of time. But when my channel gets more subscribers, I always get excited. I even remember recently that I gained 3 subscribers in 1 day!!! :D

Hey there! I'm on month 6 going on 7, have 37 subs and honestly I love it. I try to make each video the best video I have ever done for that one and although I don't always succeed in doing that, I've been able to watch my commentary improve and my editing and audio skills increase as well. It's such a rewarding journey for me, especially when I have friends or strangers tell me they liked a particular video. I dream one day of doing it for a living, but I know it's a long way off. For now, I'm trying my best to improve and enjoying every minute that I've put into it[DOUBLEPOST=1481081535,1481081327][/DOUBLEPOST]
in my first 3 - 4 month i started alright got about 35 subs and a pretty good views ratio

now 11 months in i got 94 subs and i get a ton of views for the amount of subs i have it probs shouldnt like i have compared with people around the same sub range and i get alot more views then them

but im doing good i like my growth
That growth is organic growth, people who actually care about your content as opposed to "sub for sub." That's the kinda growth you want I think!

It's very tough.I'm doing youtube around 3 months 18 days (Till Now) now & after producing 45-46 videos currently I'm not my 149 subs.So not that much subs gained, but honestly I love to do youtube. That's the reason I'm continuing to do it :)

Bruh my first few months were rough. Like I got stoked when I got over 100 views! Now I'm over 300 subscribers and think, ya know, it may be a slow growth but I love doing it. The views are just a nice bonus

I'm a little over a month into posting consistently and I've gained around 150,000 views and 3,200 subscribers. I think this is because I've found a niche. I'm a vlogger - but my full time job is owning a vape shop. The "vape community" on YouTube is actually pretty large and active. Even though my channel really isn't a "vape channel" people are tuning in from that community.

reading through some of the threads....it is amazing how hard many of you worked! keep chasing the dream...this is my first week helping my son with his youtube channel...he uploaded 2 so far...

Rough in terms of expectations. Got 137 subscribers with heavy promoting and releasing 4 videos. Lots of second-guessing on whether I should continue on with the channel. It continued to grow but still wasn't at the level I wanted. I eventually slowed videos to an almost complete halt before jumping back on it last September. Haven't looked back since.
