Here are the "official" guidelines for custom URL

However, they do offer custom URLs earlier than this. A few months after I created my channel, they offered me a custom URL if I was willing to add random characters to the end. Like /Riddikore12345. BUT upon looking again just now, they offered me a full /c/Riddikore URL without the random characters. It's to note that I do not have 500 subs or an official web page.

Thanks Rikkadore I will keep an eye out for the offer. :)

Once you have your Custom Username/URL simply enter it, there is no need to check any boxes to make it link to your /c/myusername type URL.
I've been trying to do this on here for a couple of days now, it doesn't seem to be working for me. My custom url is /katesadventures but when I put that in it comes up as the person who has that as their legacy instead. I have both boxes unchecked.
Is there anything I can do to get it to show up right or do I need to use my original url? Also, I was allowed to pick my custom username at about 25 subscribers instead of over 500 so I'm not sure if this makes a difference.
Thanks

EDIT: Just checked again, it's showing up alright in the signature box but on my profile page it goes to someone completely different.

@Michael I think she means if we leave both /channel/ and /user/ blank in order to use the /c/ URL, the sub box on our profile doesn't work as it defaults to /user/ Mine is broken too :unsure2:

Edit: ..and in Kate's case, it points to the wrong channel.
