How long does it take you guys to make video

Do you think that it is just better to make quantity with less quality? I found it harder with my youtube experience to get subscribers with anything less than 2 uploads a week. Just wondering if it is actually working out for you on your upload schedule.

Quality over quantity always. viewers won't subscribe for poor quality content, no matter how frequently it comes out.
I stick to a fortnightly schedule and it has worked out fine. I started 7 months ago and average around 100 subs a month, so fewer uploads hasnt really affected sub count.
As long as your viewers know your schedule, they will come back.

Though looking at gaming channels (such as yours), i'd probably want more frequent uploads, especially if its a playthrough.
just make sure you don't burn out. I started off my channel doing weekly uploads. It was too exhausting

On a side note though, don't worry about sub numbers. They don't really mean anything on youtube. Just treat them as "likes." You'd rather have people actually watch and enjoy your content than just having a number.

Its so pointless to put out content just for "numbers". You want to create videos to generate discussion, entertainment and put out your voice in the world.

I'd rather have a video with 100 views, and 100 people getting back to me telling me what they thought about the video, than have 1000 silent views and you have no idea who is behind those views or what they thought abut it.

My videos take something like:

Script writing: Minimum 2 days (more like several hours spread out over a minimum of two days), sometimes longer
Audio recording: 3-4 hours, sometimes more
Audio editing: another 3-4 hours, sometimes more
Animation: 3-5 days, sometimes longer.

And this is just for my current """quality""" content, I want to improve the quality of my videos so expect those numbers to get larger as time goes on.

Depends on the recipe as to how long I film for, but on average it's about 1-2 hours. Editing takes up the bulk of the workload, which can be up to 6-8 hours. Rendering takes aaaagggggges until I install my new graphics card, and uploading is even worse because my internet is rubbish for YouTube so a 8 minute video takes about 2 hours!

My videos usually take.... Around about an hour to film, 3-4 hours to edit and 4-7 hours to export and upload depending on the length of the video!

I make short animated content so it takes a long time to film (in comparison to how long the final video is) - the last video I made took about 6 hours for just under a minute of video. But the editing time was less than 15 minutes as it was just trimming the animated clips to sort timing out and adding music.

I just play my game until I get 2 minutes worth of clips. Then I do some editing for like half an hour...I can’t afford any fancy editor to do cool things with

It depends on the project. It may take quite some time to get the footage if the project is difficult. The editing could take a couple of hours, but I also watch the video to see if everything goes well as I am editing. Overall it probably takes about 3 days on average.

Wow! Looks like I'm the only one who is a loser on here haha! It takes me just about a whole day to fully edit, caption (kinda), make sure everything looks more or less pretty, and then thumbnail, proper description, searching for license texts... But then again, I've just started so I'm a green inexperienced noooob xD. Good stuff, guys and gals!

Mine is more of the opposite of yourself. It takes me about 30minutes to an hour to record and then about 6+ hours to edit the video. It is very time consuming but on my other channel it would take 30minutes to an hour to record a video but only 15-20minutes to edit the video(s).
