i don't know about 50 or 100, but 1,000 took me like 6-7 years lol.
It's never too late to grow a channel!
took me ten years of improvements but i finally made it :3

I started in November and was stuck at around 25 until last week and am currently at 51. I have doubled my subscriber count by joining communities such as here and other forums and asked for feedback and things like that. I avoid sub for sub, but still, most of my subscribers are other content creators. I have spent a lot of time to find these 25 subscribers and value them dearly. If anyone has any tips on how to gain more exposure, I would love to hear it haha

I hit 50 subs very quickly, maybe 2 weeks. 100 after about a month or two. Not at 1000 yet so will be at least a year and a bit XD as thats how long its been so far

Well seeing as how I have been on YouTube three years come 22nd of March, I can honestly say that in the first year with only 3 videos, I manage around 7 subscribers. The second year around I decided hey I will take this seriously and with less then ten more videos I managed the 100 mark. Then I said I will really take this seriously in the last year and now I am on around 1200. All with less then 40 videos. I can honestly say you seem to do the exact same thing as me and thats not being consistent with your content. You need to upload at minimum and I mean at MINIMUM once or twice a week for an audience to grow if your a vlogging or gaming channel. Just try to be more consistent and also work on your thumbnails they are the two pointers I would give you hope your channel improves

Took me less than a day to get 1000 subs, but i just lucked out since my first upload went viral.

It took me a few months to get to 100 subs, without really trying.. When I was at around 300 I started "trying" and hit 1,000 after about 3 more months.
I have over 2,000 followers on Facebook but they dont seem to use/care about Youtube - every time I asked/begged/demanded they subscribe to the YT channel, i only got 1 or 2 new subs.. Different type of people I suppose..
