How Important are Channel Trailers?

I dont think that they are super imortant, but what you put there is something you think will get someones attention. I wanted one, so i made one, and i literally YELL at them not to pause so i can talk :) and its only like 58 seconds long. I always recommend a good one.

I personally find channel trailers incredibly annoying. I have to either pause them right away or go to the person's videos tab immediately when checking their channel out. I don't need a channel trailer to assess the channel, that's what the channel's content is for.

Does anyone have a moment to take a look at my channel trailer and let me know how it can be improved? I think it needs a bit of a revamp. Thanks :)

i dont think they are important at all when i go to a new channel i pause the channel trailer tbh and search for a video

Thanks for all the advice guys, much appreciated :) I can't wait to make one for my channel, bit I'm gonna keep it really short and snappy.
Yeah I think keeping it short and snappy is the right way to go! I'm about to start making my own channel trailer too, and I'm going to make sure it's under 45 seconds. Well that's the plan anyway!

After seeing a few channel trailers, some very good, some not so, I was wondering how important or beneficial they are? More specifically, has anyone noticed a positive change (likes, subs, etc) once they put a channel trailer up?

I've been meaning to make a channel trailer, and I will regardless, but I suppose I'm wondering if it was worth doing it sooner rather than later!

Thanks guys :)
Depends on the video, sometimes i use it and sometimes i dont. Its more of a preference
