How accessible are your videos?

If you don't have CC enabled, you're SOL, as where if you do you've earned yourself a new viewer. I had an increase over 1200 views those 2 days, and on average I get 10k to 15k views a day. So additional let's say 10% increase of views because of subtitles and closed captioning is not unrealistic. This isn't something you HAVE to do. I put it here as a suggestion to help people, and I'm actually blown away that people are doubting it instead of just saying "hey, thanks" or "I don't think that will work for me" Maybe I'll just keep my ideas to myself next time.

do i need to just add the automatic captions or manually add all of my own for this to work?

For subtitles: You can either use automatic or manual, keep in mind that manual will be more accurate
For closed Captioning: You HAVE to add this in yourself. This is descriptions of things that aren't spoken words, but are things someone who might be hearing impaired might not be able to make out. A good example may be music. If you have music playing in the background of your video you may want to add [Funky Background Music Starts Playing] or something of the sort.

so if its a video of gameplay and im just talking about something I wont have to add manual captioning?

now im not sure if this is right but about 10 minutes ago I added the subtitles and cc thing and my video went from 21 to 30 views?
