Draw my life planning help?!

hey guys,
I'm fairly new here so I apologise if this is been brought up before!
I would love to make a draw my life video but I don't entirely know how to plan and logistically record the drawing and recording the sound, or do them separate like a narration over a video.
My videos are all video game based so it's simple to record my games and no planning is really required

Well, I would set up a tripod over a white board (that's how I've seen them all) and do the drawing part, then put that into your video editing program and speed it up (all the ones I've seen are fast-forward speed). Then I would take that video and record your audio to match it, so they align perfectly.
