YES I DO. Sorry for shouting but its one of the few fears I've conquered because of YouTube :') I used to be dreadful because I cared what other people thought of me talking to a camera however I went to America on holiday and filmed the whole 3 weeks including my family and gave very little thought to anyone who looked at me funny. Equally I went to Summer In The City (YouTube convention) and that was an extra confidence boost given that everyone was talking to their camera too :D
My advice is just to do it and keep doing until you're no longer uncomfortable :)

ohhh man i'd like to see that xD best doggie park vlog ever =D[DOUBLEPOST=1444541485,1444541368][/DOUBLEPOST]
LOL I don't wanna act like i have ten million subscribers but i guess i could do that Ha! till someone ask for my channel name and they say Heyyyy toy don't have that many, Than i run away crying =( LOL
Look up GoPro fetch, I think mine comes up at the top for that search term

Not really in malls and such, even I have that much shame/self-awareness. I used to film with friends at a restaurant that was ok with it, but I guess it's less embarassing because I wasn't alone. At cons, no matter how popular they are for people making videos, there's always people staring awkwardly at you as I'm talking to the camera.

I've always been way too nervous to vlog in public! Where I live it's kind of like an 'everybody knows everyone' situation and I'd probably just end up being super awkward! I'd say give it a go though! You never know unless you try!
I probably will =)

It's been uncomfortable the few times I've done it, but gotten easier with time. I imagine that is the case for a lot folks.

I vlog in public sometimes, it doesn't really bother me. The thing that's more likely to stop me is if I'm dragging a suitcase with me or I'm not entirely sure where I'm going, some situations are stressful enough without turning on the camera!
I did vlog on the plane one time and the guy next to me looked completely shocked that I was suddenly talking to him and then fell asleep (pretended to be asleep?) for the rest of the flight. That was a little awkward.

Yes I vlog in public and yes, even after 2 years of doing it, I sometimes feel a bit awkward.
I first attempted public vlogging in 2011 for one of my videos and it took me about 10 minutes to film one clip as I was waiting for the train station to become less busy before I pressed record haha! The video is still on my channel and my awkwardness makes me laugh.
Now, I don't care where I am or who I'm with (or if I'm on my own!)... I vlog easily and just block out the people. I focus on the camera I'm holding in from of me and what I'm trying to say, fully aware that there are people looking at me weirdly, but not caring at all because I want to make the best video possible.
So I've stopped feeling embarrassed by it thanks to practice, but I do still sometimes experience awkward moments when random strangers come up to me whilst I'm happily vlogging and ask if I want them to take a photo of me!! I always find those incidents funny.

I've vlogged in the parkinglot of a dealership, vlogged in my car and now also vlog on my motorcycle. It's in public, but it's not. I have no problem to do so though, if people ask I would just say that I do stuff on YouTube, and leave it at that.

Wazzzzzup yall :wavespin:

Okay so my Youtube channel is mostly vlogs, food and games but i am going to start vlogging more whenever i go out, I usually vlog when i am alone in my room..... well my puppy Diesel likes to watch so i am not always alone :p

But for you guys that like to vlog do you ever get nervous when you are at like the mall, or park or anywhere in public and you are vlogging yourself and you see people watching you:cautious2: If i am with a friend i feel more comfortable vlogging in public cause my friend is with me but if i did it alone somewhere i will get embarrassed for some reason -_- Have you guys ever had this problem :mstickle:
Dude, vlogging in public can be very nerve wrecking. I've done this before in a few places. It's easier to have a friend come along. In this scenario, there is no such thing as a third wheel lol. However, if you feel the need to vlog at that time, then you do it. It's your right to. For duty and humanity! =D
