Do you think there's an ultimate formula to Youtube success?

Making great content and luck...make something awesome and sometimes the MOST VIRAL videos go viral and the person who made it is super surprised because he never thought that would've happened. Point being, try not to think too much and just be yourself, make what you think is funny or silly and try not to be like " NOW WHAT WOULD PEOPLE LIKE? " because then you'd be overthinking and not you. Who knows, maybe one day you'll make a viral video without even knowing it. So if you're always putting your best foot forward you can be sure one day someone will notice.

simple just do what you want to do on YouTube, have good quality audio and video (no recording on your phone) and just make up the rest as you go. oh and have fun with it.

That's true. Sometimes you work really hard on a video, thinking it will go viral, but then it doesn't, while the video you worked least hard on surprisingly gets a lot of views. That's why I think it's quite random, haha.

The not giving up part can be hard. It's frustrating to see channels that aren't very good but they have more subs than me. I know that's a selfish thing to say. I should be happy for them.. But the envy is still there!

For sure, we all envy other channels sometimes, even me, I have to admit. Although that shouldn't stop us from posting content in Youtube, we just have to keep working hard to see our subscribers & views grow :)

Yep so true. It's nice to know there are other people out there like me trying to achieve their goals! Good vibes to everyone

Formula for success??

Good camera + Big boobs + small top = Guaranteed success.
This needs to be put to a scientific test! Make 2 videos each with the exact same script. One is an 18 year old girl in a tight tshirt and the other is someone like George Constanza only more pathetic. Run it for one month and see who got more views

Of course there's no ultimate truth, there is no answer. You have to look at it as it is. Youtube comprises of people who watch content, these people have vastly different tastes and preferences that will always be changing. Remember you're dealing with millions of INDIVIDUALS, it's not always a good idea to view them as a collective. What you can do though, is control the things you can control and you do this to increase your odds, you tweak to make your channel have the best possible chance in context with youtube. You can research and copy things that are popular, which is another way of increases you chances of success or you can take a risk and bring something new, but we are talking about so many different variables that you really cannot know what will work and what won't. You can only increase your odds and attempt to make smart decisions to increase those odds or you strike lucky.
