Do you think there's an ultimate formula to Youtube success?

There is no ultimate formula for success on YouTube.... It comes down to more luck than anything else, that 1 video that gets you some "fame" or is a big boost to your channel. You can boost your chances of that happening by trying to improve your videos every time then uploading them, advertising them at the right places and not giving up.

I think just the same. But in the end, if you work hard, I think everyone can get a decent amount of views / subscribers, even if it takes a while ^^

Formula for success??

Good camera + Big boobs + small top = Guaranteed success.

This is 100% false. I'm pretty sure that there are plenty of people like that on youtube that didn't get famous in any way.

There's absolutely no formula and anyone who says otherwise is full of sh*t.

YouTube formula for success:
  • Be young, but not too young. Around 16-22 is about right
  • Be model-gorgeous and able to speak loudly and for a long time, enthusiastic about everything
  • Have a lot of good-looking, young friends you hang out with and film them
  • Do something that can be viewed without the necessity of sound. Makeup works, but if you're going to squash things in a hydraulic press, that works too
  • Keep up to date with every trend that happens, and make a video about it immediately
  • Have incredibly high production values in video quality and sound
  • Move to LA and collaborate with a lot of other popular YouTube celebrities
  • Be controversial and say things you may or may not believe in, but make other people really angry, then recant those statements and perhaps "quit" YouTube in a huff, only to come back contrite, but only for a moment
That or,
  • Cat videos

I think that sums it up pretty well man, haha.

Lmao. Treat YouTube like any other business and you will be fine. You Physically need to "sell" your channel for what its worth. Some ride off of fame they have, or once had. You don't see them lasting long do you? Some ride off of others fame, Again you don't see them lasting long. The ones that make it are those who do everything in their power to let people know they are alive. If you sit thinking people will come to you, you are sadly mistaken. For those who own businesses and know what I'm talking about then you have an advantage. Since We do gaming on this channel, We have to go with a secondary method; Have people come for one thing they heard about, read about, saw once, and stay for the gaming content. Kind of like screenjunkies. Everyone came for the Trailers and some stayed for the extra stuff, that is now moved to their website and YouTube Red.

Anyway thats my take on the whole "Youtube life". ~Fates

That's a load of b******t. There are plenty examples of people who don't fit that description and are still popular.

The problem with people nowadays is that are always looking for an excuse for their lack of success. Instead of "i'm not talented enough" they prefer to think "Oh, i'm not young and beautiful enough".

It doesn't work that way. Youtube gives an opportunity to anyone that's talented and creative despite age, sex or beauty.

I was (trying to be) funny.

That's not entirely true. Youtube is based on what Society Favors as "Talented". Since Society tends to favor to "Young, Beautiful, Sexy, Hot, Amazingly Stupid, or Never seen before content".
