Can yttalk help your channel in the long run?

YTTalk can bring in views and subscribers but it's not enough for you to be famous. What this community can do is to give tips and answer your questions regarding YouTube and your channel. Being famous is up to how hard you work on your channel :)

I agree. I'm not even really looking to get famous, I just want a close knit community of like 500 or so. That would make me happy just knowing that people look forward to my content
 
Just a fun fact to add to my previous comment. I actually checked my analytics, and apparently I got 3 views from yttalk lmao. So there's your answer :D

I check out most peoples channels on here. Especially if they have something interesting to say. Helpful advice, funny joke, insightful post, silly question... even if I don't agree with them, I'll still check their stuff out... not only does it give you an idea of who the people are you're talking too, but you never know when you might find your next favorite channel.

I look at YTtalk like a library... a lot of information, not all of it relevant to you maybe, but the more you look, the more you find and it's up to you to make the most of that information. In the meantime the people surrounding you share a common interest and goal making conversations easy to start and enjoyable to have. I can't see that being anything but good even in the long run.
 
I think the biggest thing this forum provides is a way to share advice. There are so many great threads on here that have helped me with everything from thumbnails to tags to closed captioning. Those tips are what is allowing me to grow my channel. I have had a few subscribers come from YT talk but not a lot.

I don't really think of this place as somewhere I will get a lot of subscribers as I know my target audience probably isn't in this forum but I can definitely grow my channel through the tips and advice I learn here.
 
No singular thing will make you famous or successful, but this site and a number of other vital ingredients will certainly be beneficial if you go about it the right way. Remaining active and supportive always gives you a chance to be noticed, as well as making some lasting friendships. It's certainly helped me!
 
I don't know if anyone has started watching my videos from my activity on here, but I have certainly found others on this forum who I now regularly watch.

That's super awesome. I have a few people who I have met here and now have started just talking to, which I think is great!
