Can yttalk help your channel in the long run?

YTtalk will give you some tips and you can get some good advice but as people have said only you can help yourself grow. Everyone here is trying to promote their channel's and grow as a YouTuber so as of gaining subscribers you may not get that many BUT you will get some great advice

Many have the misconception that being on YTTalk makes them famous. The truth is, everyone here is learning the ropes on optimizing their channels and videos.

Learn together, and collaborate with one another to grow. That's the gist of such sites.

There are no shortcuts to stardom.

Exactly, so this forum doesn't help, it's just that some youtubers are not willing to put in the time and effort that's required. I just subscribed to your channel. You have some pretty cool content.[DOUBLEPOST=1488257031,1488256992][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thanks, I appreciate your support!

I'm not saying that this forum is totally useless, but it's a good place to learn the basics of SEO and how to promote without being too spammy (there have been people joining to just promote). Not to mention successful and motivational stories, and shoulders to cry on. :D

My first YTtalk advice is...don't do shoutout series. I mean you can but your inbox and comments will start filling up with people self promoting to other shoutout series and how is a raffle AND YOU COULD WIN A SHOUT OUT!!! OMG!, I had to stop supporting the youtuber I was watching because his community was filled with people only looking for a shoutout and that's it.

I've noticed that if you try and force your way into conversation with others, you'll usually end up having an awkward conversation about yourselves with the people rather than actually talking about what you are passionate about. Things like that come naturally, so by just being open and friendly here on the forums should be a good first step in connecting with others. Hope it helps!

I've gotten some really terrific advice and techniques from this forum. There are people of all levels of expertise and all channel sizes, which is a great resource.

As for video views, I get very few from here, but I still post them anyway.

Any tips you could give to us about retaining audiences and the like? Or maybe expanding the channel?

Depends on what you feel help means I mean there is great advice on here and people willing to help you with issues regarding youtube but not everyone is going to sub to you and or look at your channel period. If someone likes what you have to say they may so it's yes and no good with advice but just like youtube no easy subs.

If you implement these good tips given towards your channel, it would somehow help than going through blindly. Unless you get lucky.
