Big YouTuber Totalbiscuit talks about feedback stress

Sounds like not only an evil company, but a totally snobby one as well to be quite honest, FUNCreators, more l ike Creators of Evil
Yeah, they really haven't taken the criticism too well & are slightly attacking others who are getting involved. Polaris stepped in though which is expected since TB is important for their network and is the most respected & well known game critic on YouTube. Wouldn't want to lose that 1.

The thing is I can't see them (Funcreators) backing down now because the damage has already been done to their reputation. TB publishing that private email wasn't the best move IMO. Everyone has now made up their minds they hate this company and no amount of back-peddling by Funcreators can change that so I think they'll go down fighting (ie they won't cancel the strike.) I like TB but his diplomacy skills need work.

I guess. Which is why, at least in the work related e-mails I send (as a Youth Worker), I make sure to check with the law, and add on a wee signature stating that the e-mail is to be read only by the addressee, and not to be shared or disclosed elsewhere.

Not really, I love that they are fighting this and ruining the devs reputation more and more. And the devs themselves aren't helping, they're making it worse themselves. But in this case, TB can use the "fair use" thing since it's something that could become a court matter. The only problem is if YouTube decide to allow it or not. The copyright strike can still stand even under fair use due to not owning the copyrights in the first place and the developers still hold their rights, + YouTube's policy is that you either need to own the copyrights or have permission. Outside of YouTube TB might have a case though which is problematic for the devs because they would most likely lose this 1. But I could be wrong. Either way, I would love to see the devs fall apart. Also notice their twitter only has like 300 followers now... I swear it had more this morning lol

My understanding is TB wants the strike removed. Now that he's published that email and fuxxored their reputation anyway, I just don't think that'll happen now.

Sure he's "won" the argument yeah, but hasn't got what he wanted unless all he wanted was to damage their reputation, then in that case yeah mission accomplished lol. His strike will probably remain but YT will just ignore it like they did with RWJ imo.

Yeah he's too valuable to lose. I'm sure Polaris are working on something.
