Best Paid: (in order, best to worst)

• Adobe Premiere (Ver. CS5+)
• Final Cut Pro+
• Sony Vegas Pro 11+

Personally, I use Sony Vegas Pro 12. It works like a beauty and has failed me very few times in the four years I've used it. Please buy the programs you plan to use (if paid) and support the creators!

I like your picks! i've tried most of them on your lists!

My picks would be
Free - Lightworks (not pro version)
it has a big learning curve, but once learned i believe its pretty good. its the one i currently use, i do wish there were other features on it, but for something that is free, its pretty legit .

Paid - Sony Vegas or Final Cut Pro
These 2 are the most i've seen around youtube.
unfortunately i do not have the money to actually use em, but i've tried the trial version and i love them.

Final Cut Pro is definitely worth it, and underrated. People say's it's like iMovie, but in reality it's a ton more advanced.

This is based on my personal opinion and other editors I know around the editor community such as xHeather360x. Absolute best is definitely Adobe Premiere, choose the version wisely though! CC and CS6 are currently the best offers right now! Thanx!
