Being partnered doesn't get you views. Some networks offer promotion but for the most part that doesn't magically solve the view problem. And branding is irrelevant now with the changes coming to the YouTube layout.
 
Then money. I am poor right now. I am having a lot of trouble upgrading my computer because I can't afford much.
