What does everyone use for editing?

At the moment I have been using OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) for recording and Movie Maker for editing. But I am thinking of maybe upgrading to a better software.

Hey guys and gals,
Just a quick question here: what does everyone use to edit their videos?
I'm curious to know- I use Final Cut Pro X, which I hear is like the marmite of the editing world, you either love it or you hate it (I obviously love it).

If you are a student you can get all of Adobe applications for $20 / Month (US Dollars) or $50 / Month if you are not a student. Adobe premiere is awesome for video editing but also with Creative Cloud subscription you get Photoshop and Illustrator which are great for Thumbnail creations and many more applications.

Camtasia. Sometimes for simple videos when I don't have the laptop with Camtasia on it available, I just use Youtube's own video editor.

i use a whole mess of programmes at the moment
OBS for the screen, Audacity for the voice, Filmora for editing and Pixlr editor for the thumbnail.
Cant help but feel i could do this more efficiently.

I use OBS to record, windows movie maker for editing, and either paint or tubebuddy for thumbnails!
