Video Editing Computers.

CPU: AMD Athlon x2 3GHz
RAM: 6GB DDR2 800MHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB
HDD: Toshiba 5400RPM 1TB & 500GB @ 124MBPs

Comments: This has been my main PC for about a year, it's holding up pretty well, records most games @ 25-40FPS and renders vids in about 30mins.

I'm pretty happy with it. :)

CPU: AMD 8350 8 Core
RAM: 8GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon 7870
Power Supply: 600w
Any Other comments: I love this computer, I build it on IBuyPower for a pretty cheap price and it is able to run nearly every game on max settings :)

Major, I was wondering: You mentioned that you got some stuff for free because you review. How does that work exactly? You just got contacted by tech companies to feature their products on your channel?

Cpu: i5 3450
Mobo: AsRock P67 professional
Ram: 16gb corsair vengence 1600mhz ram
Case: ezcool ha900b
Gpu: Evga gtx 660ti FTW
Psu: evga supernova nex650w

Before anyone says 16gb is overkill i max out 16 within 30 seconds of after effects. I kid you not ;)
Cpu could be better but cant justify upgrade currently.

I always see overkill as good, it means you just don't have to worry about upgrading for a while. :D

Hello there,

So I'm new to the forums and have been looking around and nobody has made a thread on their own personal rigs. So I wanted to start one, all you need to do is have a format like this.

CPU:
Motherboard:
RAM:
Graphics Card:
Power Supply:
Any Other comments:

So I should probably start us all off!

CPU: Intel 2600k Overclocked to 5.1 Ghz
Motherboard: AsRock Gen 3 Extreme 3
RAM: 16GB DDR3 Gskillz
Graphics Card: 2x GTX 570's
Power Supply: 850w Corsair PSU
Any Other comments: The case is a Fractal Design Refine R3, 2 screens and Logitech G510 keyboard with Razer Naga mouse!

So this rig cost me an arm and a leg, I get most of it for free because I review but currently going down custom watercooling road, so should be fun. I'm interested to see what you guys are packing. The good the bad and the ugly!

- Cain[DOUBLEPOST=1358687758,1358687511][/DOUBLEPOST]putting what you use to record footage might be interesting too!

I got the exact same setup minus the 16gb of ram. You don't need 16gb trust me. 8gb is more then enough for editing videos. I just havent been able to get my i7 2600k to clock over 4.5ghz without a BSOD though.

CPU: Intel i7 6-core Extreme Edition (OC to 4.4GHz)
Motherboard: Asus Rampage X79 (I think)
RAM: 64GB
Graphics Card: 6GB GTX TITAN
Power Supply: 1200 Watts
Any Other comments: Lots of software and lots of power :D

i7 2600k CPU
16 gb memory
Geforce gtx780

Biggest improvement was when I upgraded from my old gpu which was a gtx570. Rendering times dropped by around 30-40%. Adobe CC seems to make use of 16 gb memory pretty well, especially with multiple applications running at the same time. I don't consider it wasted at all.
