Asking for upvotes/manipulating voting, is against the rules of Reddit, which means that we would be going against the Reddit ToS. I don't think @Michael wants the site to mess with stuff like that. While it may have no immediate repercussions, yttalk can just get blocked entirely from Reddit, which means no traffic either way. There should be a section on this forum for reddit up votes
The wrong audience is definately something to consider, currently people come here for advice, the community, to learn, and to teach. If this site offered free traffic, you would get the most annoying people here. Even people who are currently very nice and contributing, would immediately jump on the karmatrain, who wouldn't?Its certainly something I wouldn't be interested in, it would like having a forum for gaining likes and could possibly bring the wrong audience here and most likely an angry mob which is never good.
But for anyone who really wants that extra help on Reddit, try making a skype group, with each other perhaps? That would allow you to upvote each other's posts.
That is a great idea! I'm in, who would like to do this?
