I have been doing youtube for 2 years (amassed 65 subs and 3.4k views) i have not promoted my videos what so ever. i am only soon going to be promoting my videos

Good read for sure. As a absolutely new to YouTube person guy thing, I have no idea what im doing or how to do them. I want to game, but I know that won't captivate to the masses. Especially since I'm basically a nobody.

And this one's back from the dead. I'm far from "big", but my subscribers increased 10 fold in 2013 (150 subs to 1500). I'm collabing with a couple of very large channels at the moment, and am hoping to at least reach the 10,000 sub mark in the next few months... just need that one really great gateway vid...
