whats the difference between a partnership network and a director network?
A partnership network is a network where you can receive a partnership for your own youtube channel via applying and being accepted - examples include Fullscreen.netwhats the difference between a partnership network and a director network?
They still offer partnerships, but you have to be in a position where youtube offers one to you, like in the past, before you could apply. JustKevYTP from YTTalk got a partnership after this change happened. YOu have to have monetization enabled on your account to receive the offer though.so with all these partner networks, does youtube partner with anyone or is it all "outsourced" to other networks? I guess if youtube does partner, I'm sure their requirements are extremely tight.
That makes sense. I was curious because anytime I researched this, it was a bunch of out dated info from years ago, and I knew Youtube changed their methods pretty recently. Can anyone tell me and this is a serious question why oh why its such a big thing to become a partner lol are people trying to make a living or is it just the banners and thumbnail is cool?
okay so basically its the cool banner and thumbnail or is it the money.. ? which I dont know if those partner networks are truly aware of the motivations behind it or maybe they are but seems like a hell of a lot of fuss. I am not talking down I asked a question. I think networks are killing youtube by the way its being torn to shreds by the partner grab. Its making it hard for those just wanting to do their thing to well do their thing and partnerships are getting far to much attention in fact I think the bulk of posters are obscessed with it and i want to know why. So feel free to interpret my question as you please. I think people get all worked up over 50 cents and a banner for nothing meanwhile a lot will do literally anything to get there including steal content lol.Being a partner gives a person more of an opportunity to increase their audience through featured videos, much more space to customize and brand their own channel and make it look different from others, and of course to also make some cash on the side. For some people this is a big deal. They may not be "living" off of this...but it is very nice to earn money for something that you LOVE doing. That money could help to pay rent, buy food, help parents pay for your college classes, or even get a person out of their house...(this is of course if you are successful on YouTube to even make that much money)....The point is that there is an opportunity here which is why it's such a big deal...in my opinion. Lol just saying that..cause it almost sounds like your talking down to anyone who wants to be a partner or is a partner...(plz don't get offended <3)
