I am not hung up and i am sorry if you are offended however like you and others I can say what I feel on a subject.

I feel better for saying it and I will say it because this is a forum that allows people to have different opinions. The fact is if you can't see it then nothing I say will change that. I have been through these craze gold rushes before I know how they end. Lets simply agree to have different opinions if that is okay with you. I am not trying to change what you do but I dont have to like it or agree with it. That is what makes the world a cool place to live in.
FYI i have nothing against valid earned partnerships that make sense. yours makes sense . i have a right to not like it when people game the system beef up stats artificially so they can make money off of companies and call it theirs. You see I am one of those people who has to research this stuff for people I work with and for. Sorry to say I dont like it when ad dollars are spent on pretend traffic and fake views so people can take home a paycheque!
No I can respect that, maybe I'm just not aware of how widespread this "gaming" is. I know for me I've seen quite a few smaller channels who I respect get it lately which has raised my faith in the whole thing. I guess it just felt like you were saying that all partners are greedy and don't work hard for their partnerships, and that's just not true. I'm sure it's the case with a good handful, but alot of people do it by just trying to make good content and speak to their audience. I think some networks are unethical, but some seem to be fine. I know fullscreen responds to my messages and tries to help me out any way they can, and I've gotten to know one of the higher ups and he's a very friendly personable guy. Not all networks may be like that.

Anyway, I just felt like you were trying to say being a partner was no reflection on your talent, and in some cases I know that's true, but in a lot of cases it's totally because of someone's talent, and something to be proud of. So long as you don't start thinking you're better than everyone else, there's nothing wrong with feeling accomplished for being accepted as a partner, if you stop engaging your audience and stop being down to earth, THEN there is a big problem for sure. But everyone is different, we all handle it differently. Thanks for the thoughtful response UL. :)

Its pretty wide spread and blatantly obvious and usually reflected in the ratio of views per sub. I can tell in a few seconds who earned their partnership and who has valid subs and who is gaming the system. If you have read my posts and you haven't I gave a summary at one point of what is going on and why its wrong. There is a reason google has done the "everyone is a partner" thing now and will be turning on those abilities for everyone in the near future. The system is being heavily gamed. Advertisers dont want to pay for those kind of ads because they dont convert at all. Its like taking a match to your money and burning it. Ads on youtube are becoming narrower and narrower in scope. Youtube has turned into a closed system of people trading subs and views in hopes of becoming a partner. Not everyone does it but I have to say right now the majority do it. The networks are not doing anything any different they are not pulling new people into their network systems they are cycling the same people over and over again to generate views = wasted ad dollars. Someone pays for those ads and the money pit is not bottomless.

wow. That's scary, and I did read your posts, though I didn't click that image you inserted sorry lol. But if advertisers start feeling people are just botting to make money, they're gonna stop paying for ads.. that's a huge problem...

The views dont need to be botted to be useless.

re; the talent thing which really is related. If you read posts a lot of people do feel it is reflection on whether they are legitimate or producing good or better content. Some networks are more picky most are not. Talent in many cases does not enter into the equation. VIEWS do. that is why the system is being gamed. :)

Hey, I have a quick question.

For a gaming channel, which network should I consider to apply for?
I believe myself machinima or TGS are the best to join because they can negotiate with the publishers when you got a strike on your video,
but it''s are hard to get accepted by them.

I'm not sure which other networks have the same power to do so, gaming related...

In my personal opinion of what I have heard about the two networks, TGS is supposed to be easier to get into than machinima (and machinima does have some 'iffy' contract issues) but tbh you could even try Yeousch, but apparently that has some ridiculous requirements for a much smaller network :/ its your decision at the end of the day :)

I applied to the TGS and I already received a mail with the online contract ready to sign.
And indeed it all goes through rpm network/ maker studios too.
But first reading every single line in the contract. ^^

Yeah, I'd definitely verify the contract first. Congratulations!

Random moment... I like candles... Now that I got that off my chest. I remember when a partnership meant something, but now it seems like just a way to get paid and it really and truly sucks for all of those people who did their all just to become partner, only to end up with the once prestigious thing they earned become a joke. I blake Drake for all of these money hungry people who cheated the system and made partnerships a joke.

Now where were I?

*Returns to sniffing door knobs.*
